This vinyl-coated working-mat has a typical grounding
resistance of 10 – 10 Ohm. Furthermore the mat is abrasion
resistant and has a certain basic resistance to heat such as
against dripping solder. In the left and right corner a 10 mm
press-stud terminal is attached to connect the wrist-band
and the ground connection cord. By changing this
assignment, the product can be used for left handed as well
as right handed people. This mat is compliant with the legal
regulations EN 61340-5-1 (Electrostatics – Protection of
electronic components against electrostatic phenomenon.).
The mat can be minimally smell by vinyl during initial use-
this will be eliminated after a short time of use. The
information on this data sheet is a guideline that has been
determined by test labs. There is no legal obligation. Please
be aware of the proper handling of ESD-sensitive devices,
resulting from relevant regulations regarding the current
state of the art.

Information:
Die vinylbeschichtete Arbeitsmatte hat einen typischen
Ableitwiderstand von 10 – 10 Ohm, ist abriebfest und weist eine
gewisse Grundbeständigkeit gegen Hitze wie z.B.
heruntertropfendes Lötzinn auf. In der linken und rechten Ecke ist
jeweils ein 10 mm Druckknopf angebracht an welchen das
mitgelieferte Armgelenkband und die Erdungsverbindung
angeschlossen werden. Durch Tauschen dieser Belegung lässt
sich das Produkt absolut unproblematisch für Linkshändler und
Rechts-händler einsetzen. Ein weiteres und sehr wichtiges Merk-
mal ist die Konformität mit den gesetzlichen Vorschriften
DIN EN 61340-5-1 (Anforderungen zum Schutz gegen
elektrostatische Phänomene). Die Matte kann konstrukti-
onsbedingt beim Erstgebrauch minimal nach Vinyl duften-dies
ist jedoch nach sehr kurzer Nutzung verfolgen. Die Angaben auf
diesem Datenblatt sind Richtlinien, die mit-tels Messungen von
Testlaboren eruiert wurden. Eine Rechtsverbindlichkeit hieraus
besteht nicht. Bitte achten Sie darüber hinaus auf einen
Ordnungsgemäßen Um-gang mit ESD-empfindlichen Teilen, der
sich aus ein-schlägigen Vorschriften zum aktuellen Stand der
Technik ergibt.
