QFP 30 Direct Vent Gas Fireplace
• The 1/2" clearance to combustibles stand-offs on the back
and sides and 9" stand-offs on the top of the replace
separate the replace from the framing members (see
page 7, Clearances to Combustibles). The top stand-offs
may contact the framing members but no material may be
placed between the stand-offs and the framing.
• Installation requires a level surface capable of supporting
the weight of the replace (200 lbs.) and vent.
• Fireplace must be placed directly on wood or non-
combustible surface (not on linoleum or carpet).
• HOT WHILE IN OPERATION! Installation location must
be out of trafc and away from furniture and draperies.
NOTE:
Framing dimensions shown below reect an 1/4" overage
on top and 1/8" overage to each side.

Route gas line 6-7/16" behind the framing opening
(on either side of can.) For hardpipe connection, allow
1-1/4" above the base of fireplace.
CORNER INSTALLATIONS
The usual 45° installation uses the minimum framing dimen-
sions shown in the illustration below. PLEASE NOTE: All
clearances as referenced on page 7 still apply.
RAISED FIREPLACE
The replace and its hearth, if desired, may be placed on a
platform designed to support the replace weight (200 lbs.)
and venting.
