lation to ensure adequate room for outside air venting.

Check building codes prior to installation.

jurisdiction about restrictions, installation inspection, and

permits.

exhaust vent pipe and seal all

edges with non-flammable insula-

tion such as mineral wool or

ceramic.

Do not use high temperature caulk-

ing materials to seal any edge to

prevent furture serviceability.

NOTE: In Canada this ﬁ replace insert must be installed

with a continuous chimney liner a 6 inch (152mm) in

diameter extending from the ﬁ replace insert to the top

of the chimney. The chimney liner must conform to the

Class 3 requirements of CAN/ULC-S635, Standard for

Lining Systems for Existing Masonry or Factory-Built

Chimneys and Vents, or CAN/ULC-S640, Standard for

Lining Systems for New Masonry Chimneys.
