C. General Information About Using the Wall
Control
Whenabuttonispressedandthescreenchangesfromthe
mainscreentooneoftheotherscreens,thebacklightwillil-
luminatethedisplayarea.Asbuttonsarepressed,theback-
lightcontinuestobeilluminated.
Most screens have a DONE button which can be used to
returntothepreviousscreenultimatelyreturningtothemain
screen.
Thewallcontrolwillautomaticallyrevertbacktothestarting
screenifthereisnoactivityfor15secondsexceptforthe
COMFIRMFUELCHANGEscreen.Themainscreenwillbe
illuminated for an additional 10 seconds and thebacklight
willshutoff.
Ifthewallcontrolissubjectedtoastaticshock,thescreen
maygoblank.Ifthishappens,wait25secondsandpress
anybutton.Thiswillresetthescreenrestorefunctionality
andturnonthebacklight.Ifthisdoesnotwork,callyour
dealer.

Thefunctionbuttonshavetwolabelsabovetheminthedis-
playarea.Theirlabelscanchangedependingonthemenu
screen.Onthemainscreentheleftbuttonwillbringupthe
systemmenuandtherightbuttonhasfunctionalityonlyin
MANUALcycle.Figure 3.2.
6. Current Temperature
Thecurrenttemperatureareaindicatesthetemperatureof
the room where the wall control is located. The tempera-
turedisplayedcanbeinunitsofFahrenheitorCelsius.The
desired units can be selected via the system menu. See
Figure 6.5 on page 6.
1. Set Comfort Level (Temperature)
The most basicoperation ofthe wall control is to turn the
applianceonoroffdependingontherequirementforheat.
Fromthemainscreen,theSETCOMFORTLEVELscreen
canbeactivatedbypressingtheUPorDOWNbuttononthe
rightsideofthedisplayarea.
Thersttimeeitherbuttonispressedthedisplaychangesto
theSETCOMFORTLEVELscreenandshowsthecurrent
settemperature.SubsequentpressesorholdingtheUPor
DOWNbuttonwillchangethesettemperature. Figure 3.2.
You can override the programming either permanently or
temporarily. The HOLDTEMP button (lower right) on the
SETCOMFORT LEVELscreen is used to override preset
programming. Figure 3.3. By pressingthe HOLDTEMP
button,thecurrentsettemperaturewillpermanentlyoverride
anyprogrammedtemperatureinthe7daysetbackprogram-
ming.Thisisaconvenientwayofoverridingaprogramwhen
your schedule changes temporarily and you don’t want to
reprogramthesetbackfunctionsonthewallcontrol.
Toreleasethepermanentoverride,pressthebuttonlabeled
RESUMEwhenintheHOLDTEMPcycle.Pressingthebut-
tonagainwillresumetheprogrammingatthenextprogram
interval.Figure 3.4.
To temporarilyoverride the programming, use theUPand
DOWNbuttonsonlyanddonotpresstheHOLDTEMPbut-
ton.Thedisplaywillshowhowlongthenewtemperaturewill
hold before it returns to the next scheduledprogramming.
