7. Heat Exchangers
Theheatexchangerstransferhotairfromtheexhaustsystem
into convection air. Lift the stove top to access the heat
exchangers.Thereare2cleanoutrodslocatedunderthe
heatexchangers.
8. Heat Output Switch
Theheatoutputswitchislocatedontheupperrightsidepanel.
Thefunctionoftheheatouputswitchistoregulatetheburn
rates;low,medium,andhighsettings.
9. Hopper Switch
Thehopperswitchislocatedintheupperrighthandcorner
ofthehopper.Thisswitchisdesignedtoshutdownthefeed
motorwheneverthehopperlidisopened.
10. Igniter
Theigniterismountedonthebaseoftherepot.Combustion
airtravelsovertheredhotignitercreatingsuperheatedair
thatignitesthepellets.
11. Junction Box And Wiring Harness
Thejunctionboxislocatedontherightsideoftheappliance,
behindtheinteriorshield.Thejunctionboxandwiringharness
arereplacedasonecomponent.
12. Power Supply
The power outlet is located on the back of the appliance,
lowerrightcorner.Checkthewallreceptaclefor120volt,
60Hz(standardcurrent).Makesuretheoutletisgrounded
and has the correct polarity. A good surge protector is
recommended.
13. Red Call Light
Theredcalllightisonthefrontofthejunctionbox,nexttothe
resetbutton.Thefunctionoftheredcalllightistoindicate
thatthethermostatiscallingforheat.
14. Reset Button
Theresetbuttonislocatedontherightsideoftheapppliance
next to the red call light. The function of the button is to
momentarilyopenthethermostatcircuit,whichrestartsthe
system.
15. Thermocouple
The thermocouple is located on top of the repot inside
the thermocouple cover (ceramic protection tube). The
thermocouple sends a millivolt signal to the control box
indicatingthepresettemperaturesofthegreenandredlights
havebeenobtained.
When describing the location of a component,
it is always AS YOU FACE THE FRONT OF
THE APPLIANCE.
2. Convection Blower
Theconvectionblowerismountedatthebottomrearofthe
appliance.Thereare2impellers,oneoneachsideofthe
motor.Theconvectionblowerpushesheatedairthroughthe
heatexchangesystemintotheroom.
3. Combustion (Exhaust) Blower
The combustion blower is mounted on the lower left side
on rear of appliance. The blower is designed to pull the
exhaust from the appliance and push it out through the
ventingsystem.
4. Feed System
The feed system is located in the hopper under the feed
motorcoverboxontheleftsideoftheapplianceandcan
beremovedasanentireassembly.Theassemblyincludes
thefeedmotor,mountingbracket,bearingandfeedspring
(auger).Thehollowfeedspring(auger)pullspelletsupthe
feedtubefromthehopperareaanddropsthemdownthe
feedchuteintotherepot.
5. Firepot
The repot ismade of high quality ductile iron and has a
cleaning pull-out rod. The oor of the repot opens for
cleaningwhenyoupullouttherod.Besurethattheoor
returnstoacompletelyclosedpositionoryourappliancewill
notoperateproperly.
6. Fuse
Thefuseislocatedonthefrontofthejunctionboxonthe
rightsideoftheappliance.Thefusewillblowshouldashort
occurandshutoffpowertotheappliance.
NOTE:
DoNOTopenthecontrolbox.Thiswillvoidthe
warranty.Ifyouneedtopluginorremovethecontrol
boxyoumustrst unplug the appliance.

rightrearcorneroftheinsideofthehopper.
b.Thereisalightlocatedinsideofthecontrolbox.The
internallightwillturngreenwhentheappliancehas
reachedatemperatureof200

andwillturnredwhenitreaches600

C).
c.Thereisalsoaninternalbluelightlocatedintheupper
leftcornerofthecontrolbox.Whenyoupluginthe
appliancethebluelightwillautomaticallystartblinking
1blinkevery10secondsfortherst60secondsand
thenwillstop.
