B. Glass Replacement
1. Ensurethatthereisoutandtheapplianceiscool
tothetouch.
2. Protectatableorcountertopwithpaddingortowels.
Protect your hands and wear gloves to prevent
injury.
3. Removethedoorwiththebrokenglassbyliftingthe
doorupandoffofthehinges.
4.
Laydoorfacedownonatableorcountermakingsure
thehandlehangsovertheedgesothedoorlaysat,
onasoftsurface.
5. Remove the screws from each glass retainer and
removetheglass.(Ifscrewsaredifculttoremove,
soakwithpenetratingoilrst).
6. Centertheglasswithedgesevenlyoverlappingthe
openinginthedoor,(i.e.samespacetopandbottom,
leftandrightsides).
7. Replacetheglassretainers.Becarefulnottocross
threadthescrews.
8. Tighteneachretainer just a fewturnsuntileachis
secured.Checkagainforcenteringofglassindoor
frame.Continuetotighteneachretaineralternately,
afewturnsatatime,untiltheglassissecure.DO
NOTOVERTIGHTEN.
9. Replacethedoorontheappliance.
Quadra-Fire stoves are equipped with ceramic super
heat-resistantglass,whichcanonlybebrokenbyimpact
ormisuse.
Donotslamstovedoororimpacttheglass.Whenclosing
door, make sure that logs do not protrude against the
glass.Inspectglassregularly.
Ifyoundacrackorbreak,immediatelyputthereout
andreturnthedoortoyourdealerforreplacementofglass
beforefurtheruse.
Handleglasswithcare.
• Inspectthegaskettoensureitis
undamaged.
• DoNOTstrike,slamorscratchglass.
• DoNOToperateappliancewithglass
&doorassemblyremoved.
