GPRS Trafc/Cost Chart
To see the network connection Costs chart, tap the button. There is also a date input
box together with buttons that toggle Year, Month and Day view. In the Costs chart, you
will see green or blue bars that represent online costs (for time-based tariffs) and additional
trafc, respectively.
To see the network connection Trafc chart, tap the button next to . The Trafc chart
shows you how much data you have transferred via your network connection.
Exporting GPRS trafc report to Microsoft Excel
You can export the entire data concerning the GPRS trafc for one prole into a CSV le
for later use with Excel or Access.
1. Open the Report window and choose Start and End dates.
2. Press the Generate to File button and choose a le name.
3. Copy the saved le to your desktop PC using ActiveSync.
4. Invoke the Excel application.
5. Open the le exported from GPRS Monitor as a text le.
6. In the wizard that appears, choose that your text le is delimited by the vertical line
symbol.
Backing up the GPRS Monitor data
Information about GPRS trafc is stored in les under the \My Document\GPRS Monitor
Data folder. There is one le for each prole. These les are named:
n GPRS Monitor_Main.dat
n GPRS Monitor_Roaming.dat
n GPRS Monitor_Custom1.dat
n GPRS Monitor_Custom2.dat
n GPRS Monitor_Custom3.dat
You can back up these les to your desktop PC or Storage Card and then restore them in
the event that you need to hard-reset your Pocket PC Phone. Note that prole settings (tariff
and connection) are not stored in these les. You will have to enter all the information about
the tariff again after restoring your backed up data.
