Changing proles
Usually there is more than one connection that can be used, or there are different settings
for different situations. GPRS roaming charges typically vary according to different mobile
service providers. For this reason, you can enable proles within GPRS Monitor to measure
the connection differently in these situations.
1. Select Start > Programs > GPRS Monitor.
2. From the Tools menu, select Proles.
3. In the Proles dialog that appears, you can change active proles, rename them, and clear
trafc history for a certain prole.
If all your proles are congured to use different connections, you can check the Auto
change prole box to force GPRS Monitor to automatically change proles depending on
what connection you use.
After you select a prole for the rst time, make sure you congure its settings, tariff details
etc. Select Options... from the Tools menu, and check the Auto change prole box.
GPRS Trafc Report
GPRS Monitor also provides a Report Generation tool. You can use it to generate a detailed
text report of your network connection usage for a given period of time. Select Start menu
> Programs > GPRS Monitor > the Report tab.
