User Interface
Connection Status
This indicates that the PC software has detected the Dongle and can communicate
with it. There are two states:
Disconnected with a red flashing LED indicates that the Dongle is either
unplugged or there is a problem connecting with it. If this occurs try
unplugging and reconnecting the dongle and/or restarting the EP1 PC
software.
Connected with a green LED indicates that the dongle is connected and
ready to be programmed.
Firmware Version
The Dongle can hold two versions of Q03 firmware one for programming Q20 based
RTUs and one for programming Q22 based RTUs. When the connection status is
green the current Q03 firmware versions will be displayed. The firmware version will
be displayed as one of the following:
vX.XX – indicates a valid copy of the Q03 firmware is present in this bank.
Unused indicates that the bank currently does not have any firmware
installed.
Corrupt indicates that the internal checksum for that bank has failed. If this
should occur the firmware should be re-uploaded to the Dongle.
