* Definition of RESTRICTED ACCESS LOCATION is a location for equipment where both of the

following apply:

 Access can only be gained by SERVICE PERSONS or by USERS who have been instructed

about the reasons for the restrictions applied to the location and about any precautions that

shall be taken; and

 Access is through the use of a TOOL or lock and key, or other means of security, and is

controlled by the authority responsible for the location.

2. The building installation shall provide means for connection to protective earth as follows: Connection to

protective earth can be provided by the socket-outlet that provides power to the PSU. A service person

requires checking the socket-outlet to make sure it has a protective earth. If the socket-outlet does not

have a protective earth, then the service person requires arranging

 A protective earth be connected to the socket-outlet; OR

 Installation of a protective earth conductor to the protective earth terminal location provided. The

protective earth connection shall be connected by the protection earth accessory kit provided.
