Main Board
A fully loaded QSSC-S4R Server System Main Board can support four CPU/heat-sinks, eight memory riser
modules, ten PCIe cards, one I/O riser and one SAS riser. The Main Board interconnects with other boards or
modules that are plugged directly into the main board or connected via cables. Figure 17 shows main board
components. The main board has the following features:
 Board size: 16.3” x 18.65”
 Chipset Boxboro-EX IOH and ICH10R components
 CPU sockets
 Trusted Platform Module
 SPI BIOS Flash components
 Ten PCI-Express* slots
 I/O Riser connector
 SAS Riser connector
 Eight memory riser connectors
