Removing and Installing the Fan Cage
Removing the Fan Cage
1. Remove the top cover. For instructions, see “Removing the Top Cover” on page 82.
2. Remove all fans. For instructions, see “Removing and Installing System Fans” on page 61.
3. Remove the memory risers. For instructions, see “Removing a Memory Riser” on page 64.
4. Remove the memory dividers. For instructions, see “Removing the Memory Dividers” on page 95.
5. Remove the two screws on the top and four screws on the front. See “1” in the figure below.
6. Lift the fan cage out of the system. See “2” in the following figure.
