7. Close the ZIFF door and lever as shown in the following figure.

8. Remove the heatsink thermal interface material (TIM) cover from the heatsink.
9. Set the heat sink on the processor, visually aligning the two screws in the heat sink with the screw holes in
the main board.
10. Use a long Phillips screwdriver to turn each screw 2-3 full turns. Continue to tighten the screws
approximately one full turn at a time.
11. Apply final torque on the first screw until full torque of 8 inch-pounds is achieved. Repeat for the second
screw.
Note: Recommended Torque value: 8 inch pounds.
