Qualified Ethernet Switches
Q-Sys uses layer 3 (DSCP) QoS. This type of QoS is deployed differently on different networks and therefore requires user intervention to set up
properly. Because of this complexity, unmanaged switches are not acceptable for Q-Sys. For more details about network and switch setup, refer to the
Help File in Q-Sys Designer. For more details about the following switches, refer to the manufacturers’ website.
The following switches have been tested and qualify for use with a Q-Sys™ network.
