4.3 HDD SMART
You can monitor the HDD health, temperature, and the usage status by HDD S.M.A.R.T. (Self-
Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology).
You can view the following information of each HDD on the NAS.

Summary
Display the HDD S.M.A.R.T. summary and the latest test result.
Hard disk
information
Display the HDD details, for example, model, serial number, HDD capacity.
SMART
information
Display the HDD S.M.A.R.T. information. Any items that the values are lower
than the threshold are regarded as abnormal.
Test
Perform quick or complete HDD S.M.A.R.T. test.
Settings
Configure temperature alarm. When the HDD temperature is over the preset
values, the NAS records the error logs.
You can also set the quick and complete test schedule. The latest test result is
shown on the Summary page.
