Snapshot Replica

Remote Snapshot Replica enables you to replicate Volumes/LUNs between different remote servers using snapshot technology, reducing both

storage and bandwidth usage. Take a snapshot immediately or schedule snapshots to be taken at regular intervals as required. This method is

widely considered to be the most fundamental of strategies for data backup.

The system may temporarily halt operations while flushing data to the iSCSI LUN.

takes a snapshot for iSCSI LUN

QNAP NAS send back the snapshot for Backup software to conduct the backup job
