Before you start to use NVR, please install the hardware and configure the system.

2.1 Install Hardware

Please follow the steps below to install the hardware:

z Install the hard disk.

z Connect the network cable and power cord.

z Turn on the server.

1. Pull out the front case of NVR as shown below.

2. Install a hard disk in the drive plate. Make sure the disk holes of the disk

match the holes of drive plate. Lock the disk with the provided flathead

screws.
