A session is a single print job that encompasses two or more sub-
jobs, and applies global printing attributes, such as duplexing and
collating, to them. Each subjob can be of any supported emula-
tion and can have its own printing attributes. See the

manual and your printer user’s guide for
more information on the %%Session command.
n INPUT
This option allows the specification for the tray from which all ban-
ner pages (flag, burst, and trailer) are to be drawn. A typical appli-
cation would be for those users who want to use colored paper for
these break pages.
QMS$execution_queue_CHAR
This logical is associated with the execution queue and relays the
name of the characteristic file which is to be used when determining
what /PARAMETER commands are applicable for the printer attached
to the execution queue.

This logical is associated with an execution or generic queue to allow
a relatively permanent method of supplying /PARAMETER qualifiers
for all jobs printed through the named queue without having to specify
these /PARAMETER qualifiers with each print request.
These qualifiers are applied only if the print job is entered into the
queue to which the logical is associated. If you specify /PARAMETER
qualifiers with the print command, they will either override the logical
definition (see “Order of Precedence” on page 4-2“), or a union of the
command line and logical parameters will be used. For example,
