Naming the Queues
The installation continues with the following steps to name the execu-
tion queue.
1 The program next prompts you for the name of the execution
queue. You may choose the default name “QMS” by pressing
the Return key, or choose a queue name by entering a
unique name.
* Enter a name for the QMS printer's execution
queue [QMS_
nodename ]:

» Note: _nodename is a name assigned automatically by the
system administrator.
2 Enter the name of the execution queue associated with the
QMS printer.
If this name is an existing queue name, the program displays the
following prompt:
The execution queue
queue_name exists, replace
it [YES]

Typ e N to keep the existing queue name.
Creating Generic Queues
The installation continues with the following steps to create generic
queues for the emulation languages.
1 The program asks if you want to create generic queues for
each language supported by the printer:
* Do you wish to create generic queues [YES]?

n If this is a software update, type N to allow the previously cre-
ated queues to be used.
