3 At the ftp> prompt, change to binary mode by typing
bin↵
4 Now you need to “put” the system file. Type
put system.ps↵
The process will look like the following:
If a page prints out, then you are communicating correctly. If not, contact the Cus-
tomer Response Center.
5 At the ftp> prompt, end the ftp session by typing
quit↵
6 Wait 10 minutes, then reboot the printer.
Your startup page will reflect the new version of code.
