Listing the Contents of a Directory (dir)
To list the contents of a directory, type dir↵
Example—This example lists the directories available in the printer's
root directory. The following sections of this chapter describe these
printer directories in more detail.

Printer Directories
The following printer directories are available.
» Note:
Putting a file to any directory other than ADMIN, DISK, and
USR causes the file to print.
ADMIN Directory
Only users logged in as root have access to this directory. The
HOST.EQ and PASSWD.FTP files are stored in this directory.
You can put files to or get files from this directory. To get a file, you
must know the filename in advance.
» Note:
Typing dir ↵ in this directory produces the error message
invalid dir command.
