Loading the 500-Sheet Paper Cassette
Load paper in the 500-sheet letter/A4 sheet paper cassette in
increments so that all 500 sheets fit in the cassette and the paper
stack is properly leveled out. Use the procedure that follows to load
the paper cassette:
1. Fan the paper stack and align the paper on a flat surface.
2. Load the paper in three steps as follows (fig. 8.10):
a. Up to the bottom limit mark
b. Halfway to the top limit mark
c. Up to the top limit mark
