FUSER EXIT SENSOR TEST

1. Enter Diagnostic Mode - Input H/L 10-23 (8-34 if the jam

occurred during Duplex operation).

2. Insert, then remove, a sheet of paper into the Fuser Exit

Sensor.

Does the Control Panel LCD display H when you insert the

paper into the Fuser Exit Sensor, and does the LCD dis-

play L when you remove the paper?

Go to step 14 Replace the

Fuser Exit

Sensor

Replace the MCU PWB (RRP 9.7).

Does the E1-2 error code appear?
