Removal and Replacement Procedures
RRP 5.2 EP Cartridge (PL 7.2)
Removal
1. Open the Duplex Unit.
2. Open the Left Upper Cover.
Do not attempt to remove the EP Cartridge without first opening the Left Upper Cover.
3. Open the Front Left Cover

4. Pull up on the oran

e handle and slide the EP Cartrid

e half wa

out of the printer.
5. Hold on to the top handle and slide the EP Cartrid
g
e out of the printer.
6. If

ou are removin
g
the EP Cartrid
g
e as part of another RRP, place the EP Cartrid
g
e in a covered box
or cover it with a dark cloth to protect it from exposure to li
g
ht.
Replacement
1. Open the Duplex Unit.
2. Open the Left Upper Cover.
Do not attempt to install the EP Cartridge without first opening the Left Upper Cover.
3. Open the Front Left Cover Assembl

4. Hold the EP Cartrid

the top handle and carefull

slide the EP Cartrid
g
e into the printer.
5. Release the top handle and allow it to fold out of the wa
y
, then slide the EP Cartrid
g
e the rest of the
wa
y
into the printer.
6. Push firml
y
on the end of EP Cartrid
g
e to make sure it is correctl
y
seated in the printer.
7. Hold the ed
g
es of the EP Cartrid
g
e and pull out, to make sure the EP Cartrid
g
e is latched in place.
Do not hold the handle when pullin
g
out. You will release the EP Cartrid
g
e latch.
8. Close the Front Left Cover.
9. Close the Left Upper Cover
10. Close the Duplex Unit.
