Removal and Replacement Procedures
RRP 5.1 ROS Assembly (PL7.1)
Removal
1. Remove the Low Volta
g
e Power Suppl
y
(
RRP 9.2
)
.
2. Disconnect the J106, J207, J407, and J430 from the ROS.
3. Remove the four screws that secure the ROS to the printer frame.
4. Lift the ROS Assembl
y
off of the printer frame.
5. Place the ROS Assembl
y
on a flat and stable surface.
Do not remove covers or disassemble the ROS Assembly. There are no replaceable parts
or field adjustable points located inside the ROS Assembly.
Replacement
1. Reinstall the ROS Assembl
y
onto the printer frame.
The small PWB mounted on the side of the ROS Assembl
y
should be near the HVPS and MCU side of
the printer frame.
2. Reposition the ROS Assembl
y
until the two locatin
g
pins mounted on the bottom of the ROS drop into
locatin
g
holes that are cut into the printer frame.
3. Make sure
y
ou have not trapped an
y
wire harnesses under the ROS Assembl
y
.
4. Use four screws to secure the ROS Assembl
y
to the printer frame.
5. Reconnect J106, J207, J407, and J430 to the ROS.
6. Reinstall the LVPS
