Removal and Replacement Procedures
RRP 3.3 MSI Support Assembly (PL4.1)
Removal
1. Remove the MSI Feeder Assembl
y

2. Remove the one screw securin

the Front Support Cover to the Support Assembl
y
, and remove the
Cover.
3. Remove the one screw securin
g
the Rear Support Cover to the Support Assembl
y
, and remove the
Cover.
4. Remove the Rear Cover Assembl
y

5. Disconnect J603.
6. Remove the four screws securin
g
the MSI Support Assembl
y
to the printer frame, and remove the
Assembl
y
.
Replacement
1. Position the MSI Support Assembl
y
a few inches from the printer frame.
2. Insert the wire harness into the cutout in the printer frame.
3. Slide the two positionin
g
pins that are located at both ends of the Support Assembl
y
into the holes in
the frame.
4. Use four screws to secure the Assembl
y
to the frame.
5. Reconnect J603.
6. Reinstall the Rear Cover Assembl
y

7. Reinstall the Rear Support Cover and use one screw to secure it to the Support Assembl
y
.
8. Reinstall the Front Support Cover and use one screw to secure it to the Support Assembl
y
.
9. Reinstall the MSI Feeder Assembl
