Removal and Replacement Procedures
RRP 3.2 MSI Tray Assembly (PL4.4)
Removal
1. Remove the MSI Feeder Assembl

2. Remove the two screws securin

the MSI Top Cover to the MSI Assembl

, and remove the Top Cover.
3. Disconnect the P/J that runs from the Tra
y
Assembl
y
to the Feeder Assembl
y
.
4. Release the Tra

Sprin

that is attached to the left side of the Tra
y
.
5. Push out on the Front Support as
y
ou sli
g
htl
y
bow the Tra
y
, and release the pivot hole on the ri
g
ht side
of the Tra
y
from the metal shaft on the Front Support.
6. Remove the MSI Tra
y
Assembl
y
.
Replacement
1. Slide pivot hole on the left side of the Tra
y
onto the metal shaft on the Rear Support.
2. Push out on the Front Support as
y
ou sli
g
htl
y
bow the Tra
y
, and slid the pivot hole on the ri
g
ht side of
the Tra
y
into the metal shaft on the Front Support.
3. Insert the free end of the Tra
y
Sprin
g
into the slot at the bottom ed
g
e of the Tra
y
.
4. Reconnect the P/J that runs from the Tra
y
Assembl
y
to the Feeder Assembl
y
.
5. Reinstall the MSI Top Cover and use two screws to secure it to the MSI Assembl
y
.
6. Reinstall the MSI Feeder Assembl
y

7. Reinstall the Duplex Unit if one was installed.
