Removal and Replacement Procedures
RRP 2.13 Tray 2 Feeder Assembly (PL3.5)
Take care not to break or dislodge the No Paper Actuator when removing or replacing the
Tray 2 Feeder Assembly.
Removal
1. Tra

2 from the printer.
2. Remove the Rear Cover

3. Remove the Front Chute

RRP 2.8
)
.
4. Remove Tra

2 Feed Clutch

5. Remove the E rin

that is securin
g
the Feed Gear
(
located behind the Feed Clutch
)
to the shaft, and
remove the Feed Gear and Bearin
g
.
6. Hold down the Stopper Link while
y
ou pull the Feeder Assembl
y
to the front of the printer frame.
7. Remove the Feeder Assembl
y
from Feeder 2.
Replacement
1. Hold down the Stopper Link while
y
ou insert the end of the Feed Shaft into the openin
g
in the rear of
the printer frame.
2. Slide the Bearin
g
into the Bearin
g
cutout
(
refer to the fi
g
ure
)
.
3. When both the Bearin
g
is in place and the end of the Feed Shaft is throu
g
h the openin
g
in the rear of
the frame, release the Stopper Link.
4. The Nud
g
er Shaft should rest on top of the Stopper Link, and the Link should secure the Feeder
Assembl
y
in place on the frame.
5. Make sure the Paper Level Actuator tab on the Feeder is positioned in the center of the arms of the
Paper Level Sensor.
6. Slide the Feed Bearin
g
onto the Feed Shaft and press the Bearin
g
into the cutout in the frame.
7. Reinstall the Feed Gear onto the Feed Shaft, and use an E rin
g
to secure it to the Shaft.
