The documentation that comes with the optional network inter-
face contains information about all other options in the new net-
work interface menu as well as instructions for connecting the
printer to the network and for printing over the network.

on printing over the network.

In addition to the two standard interfaces (Ethernet and Centronics/
IEEE 1284 parallel) your printer supports an optional interface, such
as DECnet-TCP/IP, IBM 3270/5250A, serial CrownNet Token-Ring, or
another CrownNet Ethernet interface. Additional interface options
allow greater flexibility when working in a complex network environ-
ment.
One optional interface may be installed in the optional interface open-
ing on the back of the printer. This opening is to the left of the other
interface ports and it is covered with a rectangular metal plate.
