disconnect any interface cables before replacing the feed and retard
rollers.

1 Remove both universal media cassettes (upper and lower)
from the printer. Pull each cassette all the way out until it
stops and then slightly lift up the front to release the cas-
sette from the drawer.
»Note: The universal cassettes operate like drawers and are not
normally removed when loading or unloading media in the
cassettes. However, they must be completely removed to replace
the feed and retard rollers.
