3 Tighten the screw that fastens the connecting guide to the
Stackler.
4 Insert the metal part of the earth adapter unit into the plastic
rail guide on the adapter of either the high-capacity input
paper deck or the pedestal stand.
▲ Caution: If you’re installing a Stackler with the pedestal stand,
check that there is a metal grounding adapter with a plastic rail
guide (for the connecting guide) installed underneath the stand. If
the plastic rail guide is missing, please contact the QMS
Customer Response Center (CRC) for an upgrade kit. See
appendix A, “QMS Customer Support,” for sales and support
information.
