▲ Caution: If you’re installing a Stackler with the pedestal stand,
check that there is a metal grounding adapter with a plastic rail
guide (for the connecting guide) installed underneath the stand. If
the plastic rail guide is missing, contact the QMS Customer
Response Center (CRC) for an upgrade kit. See appendix A,
“QMS Customer Support,” for sales and support information.
 Be configured with an option controller card to enable communi-
cation between the printer and the Stackler.

Your Stackler kit contains the following items:
 Cable holder
 Caution sheet (R-IM-326)
 Data cable
 Guide rail
 Grounding adapter
 Power cord
 Printer delivery slot adapter
 Screws (7 total—2 for each tray and 1 for the guide rail)
 Stackler
 Staple cartridge
»Note: Keep in mind that the option controller board with interface
cable (not included in this kit) is a separately purchased option which
must be installed before you can use the Stackler. Check with your
QMS vendor for ordering information. See appendix A, “QMS
Customer Support,” for sales and support information.
