The controller board must be removed to install the following options:
a SIMM upgrade; an internal hard disk; the Kanji fonts; an optional
network interface, an optional LocalTalk or serial interface; a Multi-
Res daughterboard; and the option controller board.

should be performed only by a qualified QMS service technician.
