2 Insert the security key into the port.
3 Press the Online key to take the printer off line.
4 Press the Menu key.
5 Press the Next key until the message window displays

6 Press the Select key.
7 Press the Next key to view the following options: Operator
Passwrd, Use Operator Pwd, Admin Password, and Use
Admin Pwd.
8 To protect the Operation menu, use the Operator Passwrd
option to select the password, and then Use Operator Pwd to
turn on this option.
»Note: When print system software is updated, any passwords
you have set for the Operator Control and Administration menus
are lost. To reset these passwords, use the following instructions.
