To access the Copier Menu, press the Copy key once. Then use the
Next or Previous key to scroll across the top level menus (Copy, Num-
ber of Copies, and Copy Mode). To enter a lower-level menu or select
a menu option, press the Select key. Use the Menu key to back out of
the menu and return to IDLE after you have made your selections or
after you have completed copying.
»Note: When you press the Copy key, you gain access to the
CrownCopy menu and the copy option. To return the printer to normal
operation you can exit this menu by pressing the Menu key, leaving
the copier idle for 60 seconds, pressing the On Line key, or going
back to set a number of copies. Error messages that normally occur
(such as jams) will not appear on the display until you exit the
CrownCopy menu. Copy menu changes stay in effect only for the next
scan executed.

Copy options are accessed through the printer’s control panel. See
“The CrownCopy Menu” on page 5-28 for a diagram of the Copy
menu. See chapter 4, “Printer Configuration,” of the Reference for
more information on using the configuration menu.
▲ Caution: Each configuration change you make affects the quality of
your printed output significantly. Therefore, we recommend changing
only one setting at a time, printing a test print, and then determining
if further configuration changes are necessary.
