Specifications

1 Reboot the printer.
2 Compare the serial port settings listed on the start-up page
to those in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file.
3 Try the communication test again.
If a blank page ejects from the printer, the printer and the com-
puter are communicating.
If a blank page doesn’t eject and you typed the file correctly, see
the following section, “Printer Problem Checklist,” and refer to
your DOS documentation for more information.
This section contains a list of possible printer problems and solutions.
If you have just installed your printer and are having problems, be sure
you have correctly followed the steps outlined in
Getting Started .
If there is no status message in the message window, use the following
steps to identify the source of your problem and to learn possible
solutions:
1 Do all indicators come on when the printer power is turned on?
