• Caged nut adapters for square-holed racks
Mark the Rack
Allow enough vertical space in the rack for each specific switch installation.
1. Determine the location on the rack of the bottom of the switch.
2. Mark the upper (if applicable) and lower mounting positions on the vertical rails
on the front of the rack.
3. Mark the upper (if applicable) and lower mounting positions on the vertical rails
on the back of the rack.
NOTE:
The front flange of the rail (chassis port side) has two holes, which
correspond to the bottom two holes on the front flange.
