• The directory listing should contain the QLogic EFI boot
code/utility downloaded to the media (as shown in
Figure 21).
• The files of importance will take the following form:
7. Type efiutil and press Enter.
EFIutil.efi
QLogic EFI utility for updating adapter
driver/firmware.
qlxxxx.drv
EFI driver for QLogic (used by EFIutil
when the driver has not been flashed to
the adapter.)
qlxxxxxxx.bin
EFI boot driver image file package.
Flashed to the adapter to cause the EFI
boot driver to load automatically during
system start-up.
