Updating the HBA Driver

The identifying information displays:
❑ Hostname. Name of the host connected to the HBA
❑ HBA Model. The QLA200/QLA2xxx HBA
❑ Port. HBA port number
❑ Node Name. World wide HBA node name
❑ Port Name. World wide HBA port name
❑ Port ID. Port ID of the HBA port
3. Click the Update Driver button.
4. The Select Driver dialog box displays (see figure 11-13).

The HBA driver can be obtained from the QLogic Web site or service personnel.
Do one of the following:
❑ To update the HBA driver from the QLogic Web site when your network does
not use proxy settings to access the Internet, do the following:
a. Select the From the QLogic Web site radio button.
b. Ensure that the Specify Proxy Settings check box is clear.
c. Click Continue.
