Configuring a Switch

Network Properties
Use the Network Properties window shown in Figure 4-8 to change IP and SNMP
configuration parameters. After making changes, choose the OK button to put the
new values into effect. To open the Network Properties window, open the Switch
menu and select Network Properties.

Note: Since Read Community, Trap Community, and Write Community
settings are like passwords, they are write-only fields; the current
settings are not displayed.
