Introduction
This manual describes the alarm messages for the following QLogic of Fibre
Channel switch products using firmware version 4.1:
 SANbox 5200
 SANbox2-8c
 SANbox2-16
 SANbox2-64
This manual is organized as follows:
 Section 1 describes the intended audience, related materials, and technical
support.
 Section 2 describes event logging concepts including definitions, how to
configure the event log, how to display the event log, and how to download
the event log from the switch.
 Section 3 describes the alarm message format and lists the alarm
messages.

This manual is for Storage Area Network (SAN) adminsitrators to provide a
reference for switch alarm messages, their meanings, and follow up actions.
