n Operation Mode. This setting specifies the reduced interrupt operation (RIO)
modes, if supported by the software driver. RIO modes allow posting multiple
command completions in a single interrupt. The default is 0
—No Multiple
Responses.
n Connection Options. This setting defines the type of connection (loop or point
to point). Select one of the following from the drop-down list:
q 0—Loop Only (This is the default setting.)
q 1—Point to Point Only
q 2—Loop Preferred, Else Point to Point
QLogic recommends changing this option to 1
—Point to Point Only.
n Interrupt Delay Timer. This setting contains the value (in 100-microsecond
increments) used by a timer to set the wait time between accessing (DMA) a set
of handles and generating an interrupt. The default is 0.
n Data Rate. This setting determines the QLA2350/2352 HBA data rate. The
default is 2 Gbps.

Performing Diagnostics
SANblade Control VIX diagnostics allow you to pass data between HBA ports on
the same system, and between ports on different systems.
If you want to pass data between HBA ports on the same system, you must have
SANblade Control VIX running in two windows.
If you want to pass data between HBA ports on the different systems, you must
have SANblade Control VIX installed and running on both systems.
