Configurating the NVRAM Parameters
This section describes how to use the SANblade Control VIX Application to
configure the HBA’s NVRAM parameters. While changing the parameters is
optional, QLogic recommends changing the connection option.
Configure the parameters using the Settings tabbed page. To access the Settings
tabbed page, perform the following steps:
1. Click an adapter in the HBA tree on the left side of the screen. The HBA tabbed
pages are displayed on the right side of the screen.
2. Click the Settings tab (see figure 19-21).

The top of the NVRAM tabbed page is read-only; it displays information about the
selected adapter.
The parameters in the Adapter VI NVRAM Settings portion of the tabbed page are
listed in table 19-2 described in the following paragraphs.
After configuring the parameters in the NVRAM tabbed pages, click Save.
