Installing SANblade Control VIX

Perform the following steps to install the SANblade Control VIX Application:
1. Download SANblade Control VIX from the QLogic web site:
a. Locate SANblade Control VIX on the QLogic web site (www.qlogic.com
) and
click Download.
b. When prompted Would you like to open the file or save it to your
computer?, click the Save button. Specify a temporary location on the hard
drive and download the driver.
2. Click Start menu, then click Run. Type the following, then click OK.
<drive>:\<directory name>\SANbladeControlVIX.exe
3. InstallAnywhere prepares to install SANblade Control iX. The Introduction
dialog box displays (see figure 19-1). Follow the instructions and click Next.
