Complete binding the target IDs by clicking one of the buttons at the bottom of the
Target Settings tabbed page:
n Save. The target configuration entries are saved in the registry in the order
specified by the user through the order column.
n Reset. This option reverts the targets back to the state when the SANblade
Control FX Application was first launched.

Perform Loopback and Read/Write Buffer Tests
Perform loopback and read/write buffer tests using the Diagnostics tabbed page.
To access the Diagnostics tabbed page, perform the following steps:
1. Click an adapter in the HBA tree on the left side of the screen. The HBA tabbed
pages are displayed on the right side of the screen.
2. Click the Diagnostics tab.
The loopback test is internal to the HBA. It is a tool to evaluate the Fibre Channel
loop stability and error rate. The test transmits and receives (loopback) the specified
data and checks for frame CRC, disparity, and length errors (see figure 17-20).
