Perform Target Binding
After selecting the HBA connection settings, the Target Configuration screen
displays (see figure 16-5).

This screen displays the HBA type, instance number, node name, and port name
of the selected HBA. The screen allows you to configure the targets connected to
the current HBA.
The targets connected to the HBA are displayed in a table. Each row in the table
corresponds to one port of a target device. The following information about each
target device is displayed in the table:
n Bind. This column contains a check box which is selected or cleared. The check
box is selected if the corresponding target device is already persistently bound
in the configuration file. The check box is cleared if the corresponding target
device is not persistently bound.
n Device Type. This column shows if the target device is a Disk or a Tape. If the
type of the device cannot be determined, then Not Known is displayed.
n Port Name. This column lists the world wide port name of the target device.
n Node Name. This column lists the world wide node name of the target device.
