Advanced Host Parameters
This part of the HBA Options tabbed page allows you to set parameters that update
or troubleshoot support issues (see figure 15-16).

These parameters allow you to control how persistent binding is done for an HBA
or target device, as described in the following paragraphs.
n Persistent Plus New. Select this option button to report the discovery of
persistent binded and non-binded devices to the OS. If you select this option
button and click the Save button, the persistent-binding-configuration parameter
in the configuration file is set to 0.
n Persistent Targets Only. Select this option button to report the discovery of only
persistent binded targets to the OS. If you select this option button and click the
Save button, the persistent-binding-configuration parameter in the configuration
file is set to 1.
This option is mutually exclusive with Persistent Plus New. Only one of these
options can be selected at any time. By default, the persistent-
binding-configuration parameter is set to 0 in the configuration file.
