Another way to display LUN information is to click on a LUN in the HBA tree, which
displays the LUN Information tabbed page (see figure 15-14). This page contains
the same information as the LUN List tabbed page.

Displaying Boot Device Information
Perform the following steps to display information about the boot device for this host:
1. In the main window, click an adapter in the HBA tree. The HBA tabbed pages
display on the right side of the screen.
2. Click the Boot Device tab (see figure 15-7).
This read-only tabbed page contains the following information:
n HBA node name
n HBA port name
n Boot device node name
n Boot device port name
n Boot device LUN ID
n Boot device ID
NOTE: Only one boot device per host can be defined. Therefore, the same boot
device information appears for all HBAs.

Configurating the HBA
This section describes how to use the SANblade Control FX Application to do the
following:
n Configure HBAs (see section 15.6.1)
n Bind devices attached to the HBAs (see section 15.6.2)
n Perform loopback and read/write buffer tests (see section 15.6.3)
n Update the NVRAM and FCode (see section 15.6.4)

Configure the HBAs
Configure the HBAs using the HBA Options tabbed page. To access the HBA
Options tabbed page, perform the following steps:
1. Click an adapter in the HBA tree on the left side of the screen. The HBA tabbed
pages are displayed on the right side of the screen.
2. Click the HBA Options tab.
