The HBA tree displays the hosts with their connected adapters, devices, and LUNs.
The HBAs (adapters) are displayed with their model name and instance number.
For example, if a host contains a 2200 HBA that has an OS instance number of 1,
it displays as "Adapter 2200 (Instance #1)".
Each HBA on the host may have devices connected to it. If a device is connected
to an HBA, it has a button attached to it to the left that contains a plus sign (+). The
HBA name can be expanded by clicking on the plus sign. This lists all the devices
connected to that HBA. The devices are listed with their world wide port names
(WWPN).
Clicking on the plus sign attached to a device further expands the tree and shows
all the LUNs in that device. The LUNs are listed with the corresponding LUN number.
The right-hand side of the screen contains a series of tabbed pages, which change
depending on what is selected in the HBA tree. When SANblade Control FX starts,
the host Information tabbed page displays. This page provides the following
information about the local machine (host):
n Host name
n OS type
n OS version
n Architecture
n Platform
n Host ID
Different tabbed pages appear when you click on an adapter name, a device, or a
LUN in the HBA tree. These pages are described in sections 15.4.1 through 15.4.3.
