Installing the NetWare Driver (Operating System Already Installed)
Perform the following steps to add the NetWare driver to the existing NetWare
system:
1. If you are installing NetWare version 4.2, perform the following steps.
Otherwise, continue to step 2.
a. Create directory NWUPDATE at the root of the C: drive.
b. Copy the NWPA.NLM file from Support Pack 9 (or later) to directory
NWUPDATE on the C: drive.
During installation, NetWare version 4.2 will use the NWPA.NLM from the
NWUPDATE directory instead of the one on the CD-ROM.
2. From the NetWare server prompt, load the appropriate NetWare program:
LOAD INSTALL (NetWare 4.x)
LOAD NWCONFIG (NetWare 5.x, 6.x)
3. Select Driver options from the main menu.
4. Select Configure disk and storage device drivers.
